Book Sale!

These are the books I bought at our local library's book sale:

The Mennyms by Sylvia Waugh --- This is a children's book that's a little advanced for Katie, I think, but I bought it because I love certain types of fantasy novels and I found the premise of this one intriguing.

Courting Trouble by Lisa Scottoline --- Oops. Doesn't have great reviews. Might still be good.
Unspoken by Francine Rivers --- Love this series!
Airs & Graces by Erica James
Female Intelligence by Jane Heller
No Second Chance by Harlan Coben --- I've read this author before and enjoyed his work.
The Christmas Train by David Baldacci
The Blue Bottle Club by Penelope J. Stokes --- Always wanted to read this! Christian fiction. I just realized I did start reading this book once, but I don't think I finished it.

In Their Footsteps --- I did NOT know this was a Harlequin originally. The cover makes it look like a regular mystery.

The Boy with the Paper Wings by Susan Lowell
The Confession of Brother Haluin by Ellis Peters --- This series was recommended by my father-in-law.

I bought two other books, but after looking at the reviews and finding out more about them, I decided I'm not interested in reading them. One is a romance. Yes, I ignored my better judgment and bought one. Hmph. The other was, unbeknownst to me, an Oprah Book Club selection. That alone wouldn't be enough to earn my rejection, but I didn't like what one reviewer had to say about it.
